Better Health Through Nutrition
Many common health problems can be prevented or alleviated with good nutrients. The "Standard American Diet" (SAD Diet) with its reliance on fast and processed foods grown on depleted soils, often picked too early, subject to pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, and various harmful toxic chemicals, possibly irradiated, does not supply enough of the essential substances needed to maintain optimal health.
Eating right and being fit are keys to staying healthy throughout life. Because our nutrient needs change as we get older, it is important to know which foods offer the vitamins and minerals that will promote good health as we age.
The common foods that we put into our body's, the water that we drink and the air that we breathe no longer provide us with the necessary nutrients that it did only a hundred years ago. Disease prevention through nutrition and the use of vitamins, mineral and supplements will help to ensure that their is no deficiency for people who may not be getting adequate nutrients from their diet.

While prescription medications can have lifesaving benefits, many of the top 100 drugs prescribed in the U.S. have been shown to deplete a variety of nutrients. In fact, when taken regularly, some frequently prescribed medications can diminish or deplete the body's stores of important vitamins and minerals.
Many over-the-counter and prescription medications, can interfere with your body's ability to digest, absorb, synthesize, or make use of certain nutrients. Nutritional supplements can reduce side effects, increase patient comfort and compliance, and improve therapeutic efficacy and clinical outcomes.
Supplementing with the proper nutrients that are at risk for being depleted protects from deficiency and allow the medication to do it's beneficial job while being protected from the harmful impact of nutrient deficiency.
