About Dr. Charles Gonzalez-Rivera

Dr. Charles Gonzalez-Rivera specializes in minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.  He brings to Palm Beach, the absolute latest minimal scar techniques.  Being keenly aware of the importance of minimal or no scars he has dedicated his practice to achieve a fresh, natural look without the tell tale signs of surgery. 

Dr. Charles Gonzalez-Rivera is a trained cosmetic surgeon who focuses exclusively on providing his patients with the latest in non-invasive cosmetic treatments in South Florida. Dr. Gonzalez-Rivera is an international authority on non-surgical cosmetic treatments with patients from Europe, South America, as well as across the country. He divides his time between patient care, clinical research, educating other physicians, media appearances and lecturing at scientific conferences throughout the world.  He has trained closely with other leaders in the field of cosmetic surgery such as Dr. Nicolai Serdev, the creator of the Serdev suture suspension, Dr. Dwight Reynolds, one of the developers of the SmartLipo treatment protocol and Dr. Joseph Niamtu, an authority on the minimally invasive facelift. 

Modern medical technology can provide today's patients with superior alternatives to invasive, painful surgery that requires a long recovery time. He has dedicated his career to developing these alternatives, creating exceptional cosmetic solutions that his patients can have without the fear and risk which has been so long associated with cosmetic surgery. 

Dr. Gonzalez-Rivera attended the University of Illinois medical school which was followed by his surgical training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and followed with further training in pediatrics at Miami Children's Hospital to further his clinical knowledge in all aspects of medicine.  After starting a family of his own, Dr. Gonzalez-Rivera followed his passion and returned to cosmetic surgery, acquiring the prestigious GL Clinics. There he trained with some of the most renowned cosmetic surgeons and leaders in the field of phlebology and vein care.  He continued to treat vein disease and introduced the latest in non-invasive vein surgery known as EVLT, as well as cosmetic procedures that fit into his required criteria of being minimally invasive with no scars. 

His vision is to change the way aesthetic medicine is practiced. He wants patients to have more non-invasive cosmetic options and educating other physicians both in the office and at seminars. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American College of Phlebology, the American Academy of Liposuction Surgery, the American Medical Association and numerous other professional associations. 

Dr. Gonzalez-Rivera has developed an interest in anti-aging therapy. It is well established that exercise and good nutrition are essential to your health, but Dr. Gonzalez-Rivera argues that there is another equally important factor that needs to be addressed.  Hormones are the driving force behind our youthfulness, energy and strength.
